For a proper look, you should choose curtain/panel width from 1.7 to 2.5 times more than the width of your window or space (window plus walls). For example, if your window width is 200cm, you need at least 2 panels, each with a size of 170cm (ideally each 200cm or one 400cm), because when the curtains are folded in waves, its width decreases 2 times.
